2009 End Year Review!

I can't believe 2009 has already came and gone! 2009 was a great year for us and I know 2010 is going to be even better! Here are some things I have learned in 2009!

Once you have kids a year passes by way to fast.

There is nothing better than watching Reagan learn and discover new things.

That just when I thought Reagan would never sleep in her crib or throughout the night, she would.

I am able to drop Reagan off and we will both be fine.

Teething is no fun!

My friendships would become even stronger once we became Mommy's.

Reagan would have more nicknames than most kids her age, and not normal ones.

My sister continues to make me proud.

I can cook.

Kids and tv is impossible without DVR.

Even if I am 9 months into my New Years Resolution and haven't even started, it can be accomplished (which reminds me I need to think about my resolution for this year)

As a parent you do anything to make sure your child is safe and healthy.

Hearing your child say Mama & Dada for the first time is an indescribable feeling.

Reagan is the cutest little Valentine, Easter Bunny, Lucky Charm, Firework, Lion, Turkey and Elf I have ever seen.

Crying it out is the hardest thing EVER but it does work.

Bottles tun into sippy cups.

I love bows.

My love for my mom would grow when I became a mom.

San Francisco is a beautiful place, but not kid friendly.

I have more patience that I thought.

Children DO throw fits and that mine WILL.

A vacuum could change my life

California is a beautiful state with the greatest weather!

Best friends will remind best friends no matter the distance.

I would spend more time planning a 1 year birthday party that Reagan won't even remember.

Turning the car seat around change a car ride.

Visits home make me happy.

Some 1 year olds need glasses.

I love to blog.

What "code brown" means

Reagan would become more and more beautiful everyday.

That there is no kind of affection so perfect as that of a father to a daughter.

Like I said, 2009 was a great year for us! I am excited and looking forward to all that 2010 has in store for the Snider family, bring on 2010!!

p.s. I can't believe it's been TEN years since we have been out of high school!!! Our reunion will be this year! CRAZY!!

3 Years Ago Today

I married my best friend and became Mrs. Snider. I can't believe that 3 years has already passed since we said I do. I knew that my life with Darrin would be everything I ever hoped for, but what I didn't know is that I could love him even more than I did on our wedding day.

These past 3 years have been wonderful and I can't wait to see what the next 3 years bring. One day I will look back on this day and realize I thought I loved you then.

Thanks for being such a loving husband and daddy. We are two extremely lucky girls!

Aggie Game!

The Aggies made a bowl game, WHOOP! Sunday we drove out to Shreveport with Lance and some of his friends to cheer on our team. We had a good time. We watched the Cowboy game, hung out at The Sand Bar, hit up the casino, Darrin learned how to play beer frisbee and we remembered what it felt like to tailgate again. (which also reminded me that I was old) Unfortunately the Aggies lost against Georgia, but we had a good time. Maybe next year we will be a little better than this season!

Merry Christmas!

Today we spent the morning at Nonna & Grandpa's house. Since we already opened presents with my sister and Forrest, we only have a couple gifts left under the tree. One was for Darrin since he wasn't here and another was one for Reagan from Sister. We ate some breakfast and just hung out in our pj's for the first part of the day and then headed over to the Snider's for Christmas lunch. Later on the Allen's joined us and Reagan and CeCe played together for the rest of the evening.

I love being home for the holidays, it feels so good spending time with all of our family! Merry Christmas!

Twas The Night Before Christmas...

We always have our Christmas with the Snider's on Christmas Eve. Honey makes all her delicious finger foods; smokies, sausage balls, chips and dips, meatballs and tons of wonderful desserts. After doing nothing but eating all day, we go to the evening church service and come then back home to open all of our presents! Reagan hit the jackpot this year, she got TONS and TONS of toys!! We had a wonderful Christmas this year, we are extremely blessed.
