Mr.Bones Pumpkin Patch

The next morning we got up and headed towards the pumpkin patch. It was only about 30 minutes from where we were, and we loved going last year, so we decided to go. This time it was way more crowded, maybe because it was the weekend right before Halloween, but we had a hard time finding a parking spot and there was a short line to get in.

We were hoping to get some action and see a celebrity, all the paparazzi were standing guard ready to get any pictures they could, however, we didn't see anyone. I saw later that day on TMZ that David Arquette, Gwen Stefani and Bob Marley were there that day with their kids. Just not at the same time the Snider's were there!

After the pumpkin patch we wanted to stop and have lunch before heading back home. We had heard about this place when we were visiting San Francisco called The Stinking Rose and we happen to see one as we were leaving LA. It was interesting, of course Darrin loved it. (while we were there) It is famous for serving garlic and serves over 3,000 pounds of it a month. I would not recommend going unless you have either 1) a day or two off with no where to go, or 2) a bottle of Gas X! Let me tell you, there were no vampires visiting our house that weekend!

Disneyland Weekend!

I am just now getting up the energy to post about our last weekend to Disney. As you can see we took TONS of pictures. I can never pick which photos I want to post because usually I love them all, so I knew this post would take me a while . However, we had a great time and I am so glad we got to go one last time before leaving. Reagan loved it and had a blast the entire weekend!

We had breakfast/brunch in our hotel at Goofy's Kitchen. It was buffet style, the food was okay, not great, but all the characters were so fun. They all come to your table for a visit, of course Reagan only wanted to wave to them from far, so once they got up close she started clinging on to me.

About every 20 minutes they put on a little show or dance for all the kids to come up and get involved. It was really cute, here Goofy was baking a cake and gave all the kids a pretend spice and a towel to help him make a cake.

This picture makes me laugh. We were walking through Disney Downtown to get to Disney and out of all the toy stores and places to go into, we walked by Sephora, and she turned and said, "Daddy, go in. Come, Daddy." Darrin thought it was hilarious, he couldn't believe out of all the places, she wanted to go in to Sephora!

"Hi Minnie! Minnie, you go potty? You go potty Minnie?" Thats what Reagan kept saying over and over while we were there. We were waiting in line to see Minnie and she left so a short break, Reagan said "Where Minnie go?" We told her she went potty. So the next 2 days every time she would see Minnie or Mickey she would ask, "Minnie/Mickey/Goofy you go potty?"

Then of course its our turn to talk to her and take a picture and she wanted nothing to do with her.

She LOVED LOVED the tea cups. We rode them 2 or 3 times, and she had a blast on it. I kept telling Darrin, "not so fast, slow down, don't scare her." But she loved it!

That night they had a fireworks show, a costume party parade and "trick or treating with the characters." They closed the park to the public at 7pm and unless you had a ticket to the event you couldn't enter. I thought it was going to be getting candy from the characters, but it was just staff members passing out candy! There were people waiting in LONG lines just to get candy from the Disneyland employees, I couldn't believe it. Of course we didn't wait in any lines for candy so we went and rode all the rides. Since everyone was waiting on candy the lines for the rides were empty! We could just walk right on to a ride, so fun!

We didn't get an early start the next day since we got to bed after midnight, but we spent the day California Adventure Park. We didn't do much but some shopping and looking around before heading back to the hotel for naps. We were all pretty worn out from Disney the day before. Since we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel it was a short walk to and from our room so we took advantage of going back for naps. Later that night we had a nice dinner at the Jazz Kitchen in Disney Downtown then we headed over to get our spot for the World of Color.

Last time we went to Disneyland the World of Color was not up and running yet, so we were really excited about seeing the show and it was everything and more than we thought it would be. It was SO, so neat. It not only was colored water show, but they had music and some sort of projector that showed different parts of the kids favorite movies. (Toy Story, Little Mermaid, Nemo, Aladdin, Monsters Inc, Lion King, etc) I think it was the best part of our whole trip! It really was amazing!

We had a wonderful 2 days at Disneyland, it was nice getting some time away just the 3 of us. Next stop, Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch!
