We flew back to Texas on Halloween and since we had already had such a busy day (waking up at 4, one flight for 2 hours, lay over, another 2 1/2 hour flight) I thought we might just skip the trick or treating, but I knew Reagan was excited about seeing Dylan and wearing her costume. This year was the first year she actually told me what she wanted to be. I asked her, "what do you want to be for Halloween?" Immediately she said, "a butterfly!" I was looking online at some ideas and I would show her, "what about this, do you want to be this?" No she would say. "Or what about this, this is cute Reagan." "No, I just want to be a butterfly". So, butterfly it was.
We went over to the McCoy's for pizza and some trick or treating, Reagan was so excited to see Dylan. My little Charlie Brown on the other hand was not excited about anything. He hardly slept on the flights and he was just worn out. He fussed the whole night so we didn't stay long. Reagan was tired too, she went up to a few houses, then got into the stroller and said she was tired or trick or treating.
I'm not really sure why Reagan's face is so red, I think it was chapped or just dry. Since we just spent the past few days at the beach I'm thinking it was a little sun burned/dry? Darrin said it looked like she had too much candy, but it wasn't that, I don't know what it was from.
