And Another Makes Four!!

I can't believe it's been almost 19 weeks and I have yet to blog about our newest addition to the Snider family!! I found out around June 20th that I was pregnant, but I decided to wait until Father's Day to tell Darrin. I blogged about our day, but I wanted to hold off on our announcement for a few weeks. I knew that we would be going on vacation soon and we wanted to wait and tell everyone in person, rather than through our blog or facebook.

So here are the pictures that I left off from the blog telling Daddy we are having another baby! I wanted to think of a neat way to tell him, but I knew it had to be something quick. All the suggestions on the internet were these long drawn out ways and I knew Darrin would catch on. So I just decided to make him a Father's Day card, it read:

And Baby #2!!

At first he thought it was Reagan's baby, (the one he is holding)

then he started to catch on.

After, I let him open his last present, which were the 2 pregnancy tests that I had taken that said positive.

And now it's been more than 3 months since that day, and today, we found out Baby Snider #2 is a BOY!!! We have had a stressful couple of weeks prior to today. One of our blood screening test came back high for down syndrome, the second one came back negative for the down syndrome, but high for an open neural tube defect. We were supposed to go in for an ultrasound next week, but because of all the blood work they wanted us to see a specialist right away. We spoke with a genetics counselor today and had our ultrasound. Thankfully everything is okay and we have a perfectly healthy baby boy. I do have to go in to have another sonogram in 4 weeks to check the placenta, it was low, and to check the growth of the baby. But we are extremely blessed and excited to have a healthy baby boy.

Uncle Lance's Ring Day

Congratulations Uncle Lance, we are so proud of you! Can't wait to come watch you dunk your new ring! We are looking forward to a complete Aggie fun-filled weekend! WHOOP!!

Vivienne is here!

How many days was I home hoping that Jess would go into labor while I was there?? Roughly about 6 weeks, and the day I leave she goes into labor!! By the time we landed she had already had her!

How beautiful is she? Such an absolute doll. Congratulations Josh and Jessica on another precious little girl. We are so happy for you and I can't wait to hold her. Until then, give her lots of kisses from her Aunt Erin!

We're Back!

We made it! We are back in the great state of California! The fight went great. It started off rough, I somehow managed to lose my cell phone soon as we checked in. I had to do some rearranging with our baggage and checking the car seat and I guess, I decided to check my phone as well. I remember I had gotten 3 text messages back to back, so I got out my phone to silence the ring and that was the last time I saw it. I noticed as soon as we walked off, but after looking everywhere it was no where to be found. Later on as we were waiting to board I heard my name being called over the loud speaker to come to the gate. There was a guy from the loading crew asking if that was my phone. He had called the last person I called, which was my sister, to find out whose phone it was. Phew, good thing I have a 1980's phone, no one was interested in pocketing it!

Then we were an hour delayed. They were supposedly waiting for the clean up crew to come clean the plane before we could board, so we got pushed back and hour. And since we flew American, we could not check in early and pick our seats. Reagan and I were (since this was her very first flight having her own seat) and Darrin was on another row. We decided once we got there to just pay an extra $29 dollars to move his seat to the front of the plane so someone would be happier about switching us. However, the idiot (for better/nicer way of wording it) did NOT want to switch with us! He was flying alone, and wanted to sit with me and a 2 year old? Ridiculous. So after he turned us down, Darrin continued to think about it and decided to ask him again to switch. Luckily, the guy changed his mind and allowed us to sit together, otherwise I would have been pissed! But the flight went great, Reagan slept the last hour and we made up for 30 minutes of the delayed time.

And the best part about it was getting out of the airport and feeling the cool temperature! I could have worn a light jacket it was so great, much different from the hot Texas heat!

We had such a wonderful time being home with everyone. Thank you so much Nonna, Paw Paw, Honey, Dustin and Tricia for all your help over the last several weeks. I appreciate all the home-cooked dinners and dinners out, all the times I was able to leave Reagan with one of you and have some alone/girl time, all the entertaining you guys did while I did nothing and just having the company.

Can't wait for Christmas to do it again! Love and miss you guys!

10 Year Class Reunion!

I can't believe we have been out of high school for 10 years already! We had a really great time at our reunion, it was nice to see some old faces. There weren't any real shockers, maybe facebook has a little to do with that. But we had a great date night out and thank goodness Jess was there to sip water with me!

More Summer 2010

The rest of the summer was mainly spent at either Nonna & PawPaw's house or at Honey & Pop's house. We did manage to squeeze in a few days with Aunt Mae Mae, she had a small break in her school schedule and came down to see us. We had a few lunch's together, shopped everyday, swam in the pool and just hung out. It was a quick few days, but we are so glad we got to spend some time with her!

Durning the day our day would get kinda boring. If we didn't have a play date planed, it was just Reagan & I in the house all day, without a car, it makes it hard to get out and do anything. But we managed to pass the days along somehow, like make ponytails!

Finally once Nonna or PawPaw got home from work is when Reagan would have some real fun. Her and Nonna would jump on the bed, or eat snacks...

or play in Reagan's favorite, "the toy room." From the second one of them got home she was asking and dragging them into the toy room. Nonna taught her how to cross her legs...

and shared her orange popsicles with her. Nonna's favorite are the orange ones but she had to give them up for Reagan. Every time she tried to give her a different color she would ask to have orange.

and shared his ice cream with her. Every night she would ask him, "PawPaw i keem?" And he would get a bowl for them to share. She would always stand right beside his chair and they would take turns taking bites. Reagan would take a bite and then say, "PawPaw's turn" after every bite.

If we weren't over there we were at Honey's house playing with Dylan. Every Tuesday Honey picked Dylan up from school and then came and picked us up. We had dinner over there and played all sorts of things. Everywhere Dylan went, Reagan was right there behind him.

Their favorite place to be was of course outside. They would take turns having Honey push them in the swing. I was usually watching from inside because it was just to dang hot outside for me or the mosquitoes would eat me up. Honey didn't mind though, she loved being out there with them!

Once Pops and Uncle Darrin got home all the games became much more interesting. They would play with the laundry baskets...

We had a great last weekend with everyone in town. Reagan will definitely miss everybody and I will miss all the company! Here is Reagan and Dylan giving each other a hug and a kiss goodbye. So sweet.
