New Year, New Name

I suppose my last post for 2011will be 2 videos of my sweet, sweet family. Just a small glimpse of our everyday right now. 

I am behind on my end of year review, I will work on that next week. But I love this time when I go back through my posts and list highlights from the year.

And I am starting the year with a new name. I have wanted to change it for almost a year now but I have just been too scared I would lose everything. But my next post will be from the new URL so make sure to change it in your followers list.

Happy New Years! 

5 Years.

Since our special day. 

We've had other anniversaries, but for some reason this one felt different. I woke up this morning feeling giddy and excited just like I did 5 years ago. Maybe because it was five, our 5th, a big one. Or maybe it was because I came to realize how much we have accomplished and how wonderful the past five years has been. We went out for dinner and had a great time. The food was delicious, the restaurant was adorable, but the company was the best part. Just us two, no interruptions, talking about the last 5 years. 

Together as 1, with 2 kids, 3 moves, a family of 4, 5 years with my Love. It just gets better and better. Happy Anniversary, I love you.

Christmas Day

Our Christmas started out with a present from the kids, both slept until 8:30. We couldn't believe it. Grayson is usually up around 7 and Reagan by 8, so this was a wonderful treat. We all climbed into our bed for a bit before heading down the hallway to the check out what Santa left. 

We spent the rest of the day playing with toys, swimming upstairs and watching Cars 2 since we still hadn't seen it. After dinner I made Darrin take us out to see some lights. He was perfectly fine staying in all day, but I had seen the lights and really wanted to check them out.  

It was really crowded and not as big as I thought, so we didn't stay long. We were back home in no time, back in our pj's eating ice cream on the couch. 

Sister in her favorite Christmas gift stocking stuffer, her Ariel watch. She was worn it everyday since Christmas, sleeps in it, and asks me 194589327583982 times a day, "what time is it?"
